Now, we’re entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a high-performing International Account Executive to lead and expand our Foreign Military Sales (FMS) portfolio worldwide. This role is responsible for developing, managing, and executing international defense sales opportunities through the U.S. Government FMS process across a global, unrestricted territory. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the FMS lifecycle, strong relationships within the DoD and international partner networks, and a demonstrated ability to close complex, multi-year defense programs.
What You'll Do
- Identify, qualify, and capture new international opportunities through the U.S. Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.
- Develop and execute global territory strategy aligned with PDW growth objectives.
- Lead opportunity shaping activities with Combatant Commands, Security Cooperation Offices (SCOs), Implementing Agencies, and international end-users.
- Drive the full sales lifecycle from early engagement through Letter of Request (LOR), Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA), contract award, and program execution.
- Navigate and manage the U.S. Government FMS framework, coordinating with DSCA, DoD Implementing Agencies, and relevant Program Executive Offices (PEOs).
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with U.S. Government stakeholders, U.S. Embassy personnel, and foreign Ministry of Defense officials.
- Represent PDW at international trade shows, defense exhibitions, and official delegations.
- Provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Meet or exceed annual revenue, bookings, and margin targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (Business, International Relations, Engineering, or related field).
- 8+ years of experience in defense sales, international business development, or FMS program management.
- Demonstrated success managing Foreign Military Sales programs through the U.S. Government.
- Strong working knowledge of DSCA policies, SAMM, ITAR, and export compliance requirements.
- Experience working with DoD acquisition organizations and international military customers.
- Ability to travel internationally (25–50% or as required).
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance or higher, as required
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about regularly throughout the day and lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must have manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones. Must be physically capable of walking between the office and production areas and attending events or meetings off-site as needed.
Work Environment
This position typically operates in an office setting and manufacturing environment. This role requires use of standard office equipment and will require occasional travel to customer locations or facilities. This position may have exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and non-climate-controlled environments. May require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) depending on the environment. This is a fast-paced work environment and requires cross departmental collaboration with independent and team-based responsibilities.
