Now, we’re entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a Tier 2 IT Systems Support Engineer to strengthen our IT operations by providing advanced technical support, endpoint management, and infrastructure assistance as we scale to meet the needs of a growing, engineering-driven organization.
- Serve as the Tier 2 escalation point for end-user and endpoint support across Windows 11 and macOS devices.
- Manage device enrollment, configuration, and compliance through Microsoft Intune and Jamf Pro.
- Administer user and group access in Entra ID (Azure AD) and other SaaS applications.
- Maintain device security baselines, including patching, encryption, and MFA enforcement.
- Monitor endpoint compliance dashboards and remediate vulnerabilities identified by security scans.
- Support new-hire onboarding, imaging, and deployment of hardware and software assets.
- Document troubleshooting steps, configurations, and processes in the IT knowledge base.
- Collaborate with IT Operations and Infrastructure teams to execute approved system or SaaS integration tasks.
- Participate in IT projects such as migrations, process improvements, and SaaS application administration.
- Promote best practices within the IT support team and educate end users on acceptable use, security awareness, and effective technology habits.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or equivalent role.
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID (Azure AD) administration.
- Familiarity with Jamf Pro or other mobile-device-management (MDM) platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Ability to document processes clearly and communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Understanding of IT security principles and access-control best practices.
- CompTIA Security+ certification required, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required (ITAR compliance).
- Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash, Ansible).
- Exposure to CMMC Level 2 or other regulated-environment compliance.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
