What we’re looking for

NetRise is hiring for Go To Market (GTM) Engineer / Outbound Pipeline Development: someone who blends the best parts of a high-output SDR with the ability to scale their impact using best-of-breed AI martech tools . This role is built for a person who loves prospecting—but refuses to do it the “spray-and-pray” way.

You’ll own the tooling, workflows, signal detection, and experimentation that help NetRise reach the right buyer at the right time with the right message. Then you’ll execute outreach yourself across email, LinkedIn, and phone. You’ll work closely with Sales and Marketing to translate intent signals into repeatable outbound plays that generate qualified opportunities for our sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run outbound prospecting motions that consistently create qualified first meetings that convert into opportunities for the sales team.
  • Design and continuously improve the GTM “signal → workflow → message” engine:
  • Define the signals that matter (persona fit + timing + trigger events).
  • Set up alerts, routing, prioritization, and follow-up logic.
  • Operate and optimize tooling across the outbound stack (examples: Clay, Salesloft, HG Insights Gong, data providers, intent sources, enrichment tools, LinkedIn tooling).
  • Create and maintain segmented prospect lists using firmographics, technographics, and buyer-role mapping.
  • Craft high-quality, personalized messaging that reflects real buyer value, not shallow “first-name personalization.”
  • Run A/B tests on messaging, sequencing, and channel strategy; report learnings and make changes fast.
  • Partner with Marketing on converting intent and inbound engagement into rapid, tailored outbound follow-up.
  • Document repeatable playbooks (signal definitions, list builds, sequences, handoff rules) so wins scale beyond one person.
  • Bring a systems approach to pipeline generation: dashboards, metrics, and weekly iteration loops.

Qualifications

  • 1–4+ years in an SDR/BDR, outbound AE, RevOps/Growth, or “GTM systems” role, ideally in cybersecurity or other technical B2B.
  • Proven ability to generate meetings via multi-channel outbound (email + LinkedIn + phone).
  • Hands-on experience using modern GTM tooling, especially with regard to LLM systems that allow you to scale creation and delivery of personalized content (strong preference for Clay plus at least one sequencing/engagement platform like Salesloft).
  • Deep understanding of intent signals and triggers (e.g., tech stack changes, hiring, funding, job changes, compliance initiatives, incident-driven urgency).
  • Strong written communication: you can write concise, credible copy that a security leader would respect.
  • Analytical mindset: you track results, diagnose drop-offs, and improve workflows without being told.
  • Operational excellence: you keep CRM and data hygiene tight and don’t let attribution get sloppy.
  • Ability to talk to technical personas (product security, TPRM, GRC, VM/IR) with curiosity and credibility.
  • Bonus: experience with call recording/analysis tools (e.g., Gong), enrichment vendors, SQL/spreadsheets, or lightweight automation (Zapier/Make, APIs).
