As the HR Manager for the Product and Design organizations, you will serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders and managers across two of Zillow’s most critical business units. This is a high-impact role designed for a strong HRBP who can support leaders through org design, team effectiveness, talent planning, and change navigation.
You’ll be successful in this role if you’re skilled in influencing at senior levels, enjoy operating in complexity, and bring a balanced approach of strategic partnership and hands-on HR support.
What You’ll Get To Do
Serve as the dedicated HRBP for leaders across the Product and Design orgs
Coach and support managers on team effectiveness, performance management, and leadership growth
Navigate org design and reorg efforts with clarity, discretion, and sound judgment
Drive and support annual HR programs (e.g., calibration, compensation, engagement)
Collaborate with COEs to scale development programs, manager effectiveness efforts, and onboarding
Leverage data and feedback to identify trends and recommend actions to improve team health
Actively support employee relations matters with empathy, consistency, and credibility
Take on strategic projects and all other duties as assigned in service of the business and employee experience
Who you are
Experienced HR professional with 8–10 years in HRBP or generalist roles, preferably supporting tech, product, or design teams
Skilled in employee relations, change management, and influencing leaders at multiple levels (including VP and above)
Comfortable navigating reorgs and supporting teams through ambiguity and growth
Trusted partner with a reputation for discretion, follow-through, and clear communication
Collaborative and systems-minded — able to work across functions to scale processes and programs
Proficient in HR systems (e.g., Workday) and comfortable using data to guide action
