The Content Strategy team is a part of the larger Contact Center Operations team at Zillow Group. We provide our customer-facing partners with the tools and resources required to function with operational rigor as we strive to give people the power to unlock life’s next chapter.

About the role

We are seeking a Digital Intelligence Manager to support our content strategy and develop an integrated data and intelligence practice for our digital content ecosystem. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong aptitude for designing complex measurement plans, a deep understanding of marketing technologies, and a passion for telling stories with data that make an impact. You will be responsible for supporting and executing a comprehensive measurement plan that aligns customer touchpoints and engagements with our business objectives, while also managing and enhancing the data architecture within our martech and AI tools that - enabling our team to constantly test, learn and optimize our content ecosystem’s impact on the customer experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Measurement Strategy Development: Design and implement measurement frameworks and KPIs to evaluate content, site engagement, chatbot interactions, and campaign performance.

  • Reporting & Insights: Build dashboards and recurring reports to visualize performance data. Translate findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across marketing, product, and customer experience teams.

  • Data Integration & Automation: Partner with marketing operations and IT to streamline data pipelines and automate reporting processes wherever possible.

  • Optimization Support: Identify areas of opportunity through data—such as content gaps, conversion drop-offs, or content discovery improvements—and work cross-functionally to recommend and implement enhancements.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Work alongside content strategists, content creators, performance marketers, and technology partners to support content development with insights that enhance efficacy.

  • AI and Emerging Tech (Nice to Have) Stay curious about advancements in AI and chatbots, exploring opportunities to integrate predictive analytics, natural language processing, and intelligent automation into reporting and engagement strategies.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $105,900.00 - $169,100.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Tech savvy: Understands the martech landscape and can build and design complex workflows, rules and dashboards - transitioning effortlessly from [and integrating] CMS tools to publishing and engagement platforms in order to conduct holistic assessments.

  • Content Optimization & Technology Proficiency: In-depth understanding of content optimization techniques, with a strong knowledge of content and communication platforms and analytics tools.

  • Data-Driven Mindset: Proven ability to measure, interpret, and act on data to optimize content performance.

  • Project Management: Skilled in managing multiple content streams, timelines, and priorities.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work across different disciplines, especially with both creative and technical groups.

Experience:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in digital content measurement

  • Proficiency with content technologies and platforms such as Salesforce, Sitecore, and social listening tools.

  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Domo.

  • Strong understanding of website analytics platforms, content performance metrics, and KPIs mapped to customer journey.

  • Excellent storytelling and data presentation skills—able to translate analytics into actionable recommendations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Background or interest in conversational AI, chatbots, and advanced analytics is a plus.
