Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

The Demand Gen Ops organization sits at the juncture of GTM teams driving new customer acquisition across all LinkedIn products, partnering with a variety of cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Sales Development, Finance, Product, etc.) to tackle the most important strategic and operational initiatives to drive business growth. Our team serves as the strategy and operations partners for Marketing, Sales Development and other x-functional leadership.

In this role, you will be part of our Marketing Planning & Performance (P&P) sub-team, working on global operations across marketing driven member signups or customer acquisitions. You will partner with senior leaders on Acquisition across the demand generation funnel at a unique transformation point as LinkedIn introduces new offerings and seeks to accelerate marketing’s contribution to lead flow for our sales development teams.

The Associate should have strong strategic mindset and communications skills and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive critical business decisions. The candidate should also be able to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information, be open minded to challenge the status quo and work on a rapidly changing organization while inspiring excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and shape recommendations on strategic projects that will shape LinkedIn’s future go-to-market model
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to refine and implement recommendations shaping the go-to-market model
  • Act like an owner in driving strategic planning processes through data-driven recommendations (e.g. forecasting, paid media budgeting, revenue / lead targets, initiative sizing/investment cases, and supply vs. demand side tradeoffs)
  • Track business performance, own data analysis, and provide insights and recommendations to advise marketing/sales leadership
  • Establish strong working relationships with peers in other Marketing, Sales, GTM Operations, Acquisition Operations (within DGOps), Finance and other senior leaders in the organization to achieve objectives


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Math, Computer Science, Economics, Analytics, Engineering or other quantitative fields, OR equivalent experience
  • 2+ years' experience in sales operations, business operations, management consulting, finance, or another analytical/operational role
  • 2+ year of experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • 1+ year of experience with SQL


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years' experience in consulting, finance, sales operations, business operations, or analytical role
  • Ability to leverage numbers and insights to influence & drive sound decision making
  • Experience in communicating effectively and present to Senior Executives
  • Proficiency with Excel modelling
  • Ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Motivation to stand out from the crowd, disrupting the norm to help the business win
  • Ability to effectively solve complex problems from high priority strategic initiatives

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The base pay range for this role is $84,000 to $137,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
