Within our Marketing Solutions business we are looking for a Senior Account Director to join our team to help us realize our goal of empowering businesses to reach, engage and convert their professional audience at scale.
As an Account Director on the Enterprise Solutions Group team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering sales strategies, driven by data and the strength of your experience, to bring LinkedIn’s digital marketing solutions to strategic and high potential customers (Financial Services). By being their trusted advisor, you will help our clients realize their growth plans by connecting them to ever-expanding opportunities among our members.

As an Account Director on the Enterprise Solutions Group team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering sales strategies, driven by data and the strength of your experience, to bring LinkedIn’s digital marketing solutions to strategic and high potential customers (Financial Services). By being their trusted advisor, you will help our clients realize their growth plans by connecting them to ever-expanding opportunities among our members.
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with high potential LinkedIn Marketing Solutions customers, working closely with C-levels, top executives, and decision-makers.
- Lead as a rigorous business manager, who maps out and executes on commercial opportunities for a portfolio of clients for the next 6-12 months.
- Working closely with a Client Solutions Manager partner, to deliver a consultative sales approach for each client that meets their business & marketing objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and new buying groups within the book of business of existing customers for LMS offering.
- Lead with insights through smart client research, industry-specific information, and trends.
- Create and manage a tiered service approach for your clients to deliver growth in your book.
- Reach and exceed sales quotas while contributing to overall team goals.
- Contribute to client events - Travel may be required up to 20%.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in client-facing roles with internal or external stakeholder management experience
- 5+ years of work experience in digital marketing, media sales, account management or a closely related function
- 5+ years' experience in a sales quota carrying role
- Fluency in both verbal and written English & French
- Experience & Knowledge of the Financial Service Industry
- Fluency in an additional language - Dutch, Italian, Spanish, French, Hebrew, German or a Nordic language
- BA/BS degree in marketing or a related field
- Digital platform and reporting experience within a portfolio
- Driving value for customers through data storytelling and insights
- Knowledge of how online advertising technology and Account Based Marketing works and the ability to explain it in ordinary terms
- Proven communication skills across multiple channels (e.g virtual meetings, phone, and email)
- Experience building relationships with senior decision makers
- Proven ability to manage a sizable volume of clients/accounts
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
